Woodside Farms is based in Trinity, Jersey and has been family owned since 1887.  It is currently run by 5th generation family member Charles E. Gallichan.

​

The company is a major exporter of daffodils and vegetables to the UK, Europe and America.  Growing LEAF Marque Jersey Royals, flowers, vegetables and salad crops, and achieving a number of different standards of growing including Leaf, Tesco Nurture Gold, M&S Field to Fork and Red Tractor Assurance.

As well as exporting produce, Woodside also grows, packs and distributes a wide range of vegetables to the local wholesale sector and retailers in both Jersey and Guernsey.  The new purpose built pack-house is also utilised by other local suppliers to pack and distribute their produce more cost effectively.

Woodside's core strategic goal is to be a balanced business, encouraging synchronicity between staff, suppliers and customers.  Alongside these business goals Woodside strive to minimise our environmental footprint and encourage greater bio diversity, utilising many integrated farming management principles and creating and building structures, equipment and working systems that are as sustainable and as environmentally sensitive as possible.
